This movie is about a high school student who lies about her experience with boys to get a job at the school paper. She then has to prove that she can write and interview people, but she doesn’t have any actual experiences. 10 Things I Hate About You
“10 Things I Hate About You” is a romantic comedy starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. It was based on the play “Taming of the Shrew,” written by William Shakespeare. The movie takes place in modern times, unlike its original source material, so you won’t need to worry about dressing up like it’s 1599 when watching this classic film!
The movie follows two sisters who are complete opposites: Kat Stratford (Stiles) is a free-spirited teenager who spends most of her time hanging out with her friends Patrick Verona (Ledger) and Cameron James; Bianca Stratford is an overachiever who has never had any trouble getting into college because of her perfect grades and SAT scores. When Bianca finds out that she has been accepted at Princeton University–but not if she doesn’t find herself a boyfriend first–Kat offers to help by setting her up with someone from school named Joey Donner…but when Bianca meets him for real at their high school homecoming dance, he turns out not only be totally wrong for her but also extremely annoying!

The plot revolves around Senator Jay Billington Bulworth (Warren Beatty), a Democrat from California who has sold out to the political establishment and become a lackey for big business and wealthy lobbyists. Bulworth decides to launch one last campaign based on his real beliefs: he will say whatever he wants no matter how offensive or controversial it may be, with no regard for what others think of him.
Bulworth was produced under the working title “Untitled Warren Beatty Project”; it received mixed reviews but was praised for its strong performances, particularly those by Beatty himself as well as Halle Berry, who earned nominations at both the Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role.*
