Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, September 21. An official trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has been released on Crunchyroll’s YouTube channel.
Jujutsu Kaisen film 0 adapts the prequel manga to the Jujutsu Kaisen series titled “Jujutsu Kaisen volume 0”. Gojo’s student Yuta Okkotsuki is the focus of the film. Yuta lost his childhood friend Rika in a car accident when he was a young boy. Rika’s curse caused her to become a cursed spirit, which he later experienced. Yuta is welcomed to the magic high school by Gojo and he promises to end Rika’s curse there.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be available on Crunchyroll on September 21. No specific release date has been announced by Crunchyroll. As Netflix releases its shows at 12:00 AM, Crunchyroll is expected to release the film at the same time
In March 2018, Gege Akutami debuted the Jujutsu kaisen manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump. In April 2017, Shueisha’s Jump Giga magazine published a one-shot manga based on this film. Studio Mappa chose to adapt the series and debuted it in 2020. The animation for the film 0 was also provided by Mappa Studio. In 2023, Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will be released.
