Game of Thrones ended its run in 2019, and three years later, the first of many anticipated spinoffs is finally coming to the small screen.
Via its official Twitter account, Sky announced that House of the Dragon is premiering on August 22 alongside a pretty epic poster.
House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the main series, the Targaryen family and the events leading to the ‘Dance of the Dragons’ civil war.
The original series was already set in ye olde fantasy times anyway, so we’re not sure yet how Westeros is going to differ this time around, but leading star Matt Smith has teased that the spin-off will have its own identity.Do you have any characters that you are looking forward to learning more about?
